Event Date: April 4, 2026

Location: Library Block (E), Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida, India

Hackathon Duration:
Participants will build their projects during the event day and submit them before the announced submission deadline.

Project Submission Deadline:
All teams must submit their projects on Devpost before the official submission closing time announced during the event.

👨‍💻 Eligibility

• The hackathon is open to university students.
• Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 4 members.
• Participants must register for the event and check in at the venue to be eligible for prizes.
• All participants must follow the MLH Code of Conduct and maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.

🛠 Project and Submission Requirements

• All projects must be created during the hackathon.
• Teams must submit their project through Devpost before the submission deadline.
• Each submission must include:

  • Project name

  • Project description

  • GitHub repository or source code

  • Screenshots or demo images

  • Optional demo video

  • Explanation of technologies used

• Projects that integrate Google Gemini API will be eligible for the special Gemini prize category.

🏆 Prizes

Participants will compete for the following categories:

Best Use of Google Gemini API
Awarded to the team that best demonstrates creative and effective use of the Google Gemini API in their project.

Additional recognition may be awarded for innovation, creativity, and technical excellence.

Winning teams will receive exclusive hackathon swag and recognition.

⚖️ Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated by judges based on the following criteria:

Innovation & Creativity
How unique and original the idea is.

Technical Implementation
Quality of the technical solution and functionality.

Use of Technology
Effective use of tools, frameworks, and APIs (including Gemini where applicable).

Impact & Usefulness
Potential real-world value or problem-solving capability.

Presentation & Demo
Clarity of explanation and effectiveness of the project demonstration.

Judges will review all submissions and select winners based on the overall evaluation across these criteria.
